Hopefully the mystery pic wasn’t too taxing – here’s a better photo. Dungeness isn’t exactly noted for the species, but I guess the cattle pastures nearby could hold a sett or two. Sadly this individual was carrying an injury to its lower back, presumably due to a skirmish with a vehicle. At least it was fully mobile and feeding, so hopefully it would have a decent chance – the RSPCA were called to check it out as well.
