The number of hits on the blog has been very high today, suggesting that perhaps it's got a few people thinking and forwarding things on.

I just get fed up with the constant 'my type of birding is better than yours' bitching that goes on, whether online or in the field. My new year's resolution will be to ignore it all , and look to enjoy what I happen to choose as much as I possibly can.Dbradnumhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09621088921043358779noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1403572147310904666.post-64435219796360047062009-12-22T11:27:03.678+00:002009-12-22T11:27:03.678+00:00Nice post David. You've seen way more birds than me this year! Of course I agree with every word you've said, except for not getting excited about Goosander, Lapwing and Snipe in Wanstead! I left the door open for a bitter post about being cold and miserable, but this is much better. And if the Gyr reappears, give me a call. Although as you know I rarely stray further than Wanstead, I might be interested!Jonathan Lethbridgehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12791327377479687655noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1403572147310904666.post-68522338446692641672009-12-22T09:47:26.915+00:002009-12-22T09:47:26.915+00:00A very balanced and sensible discussion, lets hope...A very balanced and sensible discussion, lets hope more people end up finding that conclusion!James Emersonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04895693455349558444noreply@blogger.com
